Specialist Disability Accommodation (SDA) is a category of NDIS-funded housing for people with significant functional impairment or very high support needs. SDA homes are built to a specific design standard so participants can live more safely, more independently and with the right support around them.
SDA funds the bricks-and-mortar; daily supports are delivered separately by a Supported Independent Living (SIL) provider chosen by the participant.
