Accessible SDA interior
OUR PROCESS

Guide You Home. A six-step partnership.

Every Indus Ability home is built around the unique needs and preferences of a participant and their support team. Here's how we get there together.

SDA design phase
01 · Listen & design
SDA construction
04 · Build & certify
Move-in support
05 · Match & move

01 · Listen

We start with the participant, family and support team. We listen to lived experience, daily routines, goals, sensory needs and the suburbs that matter — before we ever talk about a building.

02 · Locate

Location is the biggest single driver of a successful SDA tenancy. We target sites with transport, allied health, community and family within reach — not just where land is cheapest.

03 · Design

Architects and occupational therapists co-design to the NDIS SDA Design Standard and beyond — light, acoustics, ceiling-hoist coverage, garden access, assistive-technology readiness.

04 · Build

Construction is delivered by experienced SDA builders with independent certification at completion. Every home is enrolled to the design category it was built for.

05 · Match & Move

We match housemates carefully and align the right SIL provider. Tenancy paperwork, accessibility orientation and a settling-in period are all part of the handover.

06 · Sustain

Long-term leases, responsive maintenance and on-going housing management. We measure success in years lived well, not units delivered.
